You will definitely want to save this and you do feel that it is useless to pay them this commission. But I am quiet sure that you should really think twice before having this feeling. You cannot really imagine that how helpful the real estate agents can be for you if you hire them. Even I cannot understand why you have such ideas. I must say that the main reason behind this can be that you have not been involved in the real estate deals for long.

The real estate agents spend thousands of dollars in preparing the list of the potential buyers. They really make it through lots of hard work. I must say that you will definitely find it very hard if you will have to do it on your own.

I would definitely like to ask you that you can sit back in your house and hope that the buyers will pass through your house and contact you as soon as they will see the for sale board. I must say that this can never be the case. You will definitely need to do some advertising if you want to be successful. But the question is that are you ready to pay for the advertisements? I really hope that you would have the knowledge that you will have to pay for the advertisement.

There is another point which is really of great concern. You might be an employee of some company. It is quiet sure that you will not be available in your house for the whole day. The buyer might visit your house during this time. If you will hire the agent then he will plant a lock box I your house.

In this way he can show the house to the buyers even when you are not in the house. But this will certainly not be the case if you do not hire the agent. Your buyer might visit the house and you might ask him to wait. But it might be that he has to finalize the house as quickly as possible and hence he would leave your and see some other house.

I must say that there are many reasons which you will find to say that if you really decide to go for FSBO then you should be ready to invest money and time for the deal.
